UNITED LATINO FUND
Our Mission
The United Latino Fund is a philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Latinos in Los Angeles County through a concerted effort of voluntary giving. ULF provides support for the diverse economic needs of new and developing organizations committed to the delivery of human care and social services in our Latino community.
Giving Matters
Since 1990, the United Latino Fund has become a prominent philanthropic organization in the Los Angeles area, and is only one of a few Latino Funds throughout the United States. As a fund distribution agency, ULF coordinates fundraising campaigns in various workplace-giving programs. Over the past 21 years, the United Latino Fund has provided leadership in the Latino community by representing the interest and concerns of non-profit organizations.
Our commitment to educators
In keeping with the ULF mission, money donated to ULF through the Sharing Brings Hope Consolidated Charitable Campaign will be given back tothe Los Angeles community.
The ULF Scholarship Program will give annual scholarships to students living in Los Angeles County;special consideration will be given to low-income, first-generation college students that will be attending a four-year college or university.Qualified students may apply for a one-year scholarship that can be renewed for up to four years. In addition, special awards will be given to qualified students interested in careers that focus on the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries.
